Children & Toddlers
I have a very hands-off approach to child photography - preferring to work my shoot around them and what they are doing rather than insisting they do certain things. I find it makes the whole experience a lot less stressful for everyone and that they actually forget they are being photographed. I photograph children on location in a place they know well - usually their garden or nearby park.
If it does decide to rain or is very cold then we stay indoors for the shoot only heading outdoors towards the end of the shoot (if at all) when it will have either stopped raining or we will be suitably wrapped up for the weather and some fun puddle jumping.
Family
What exactly does lifestyle photography mean? It means simply that the natural, outdoor world is my studio and you can therefore choose any location you like. It offers an alternative to the white walled studio imagery and means you can incorporate a backdrop that is special to your family. So why not get some fresh air, have a fun day out as a family and come away with some beautiful, informal images?!
Pregnancy & Newborn
Pregnancy portraits are designed to capture the beauty of your bump from both a conceptual and artistic point of view. It's a magical time in a woman's life when she is creating a new life and one that I feel should be recorded even though I know from my own bump experience that the last thing you feel like doing is having a photo session! However you may regret it if you don’t and I promise you will look utterly gorgeous even if you feel tired and too huge for words!
Your photo shoot will take place in the comfort and privacy of your own home.
Newborn portraiture - capture the fragility of your new born with a photo shoot within a few weeks of their arrival. Yes they'll probably sleep through the whole thing, but it's still a very precious time and a newborn yawning is very, very cute! And you will forget how tiny they were - trust me!
Makeovers
This is a 21st century makeover; a world apart from the makeover experience of the 80s!
Your experience will start with meeting my very own makeover team. Your initial consultation will be with talented makeup artist, Kirsty, and is about getting to know you, how you like to wear your make up and the products you use. Personal stylist Mandi, will then help you select three outfits for the shoot that work best for you, based on body shape analysis and colour analysis. This will take into account what works with your hair, skin and eye colour and she will help you choose clothes that most flatter you.
On the day of the photo shoot your make up will be professionally applied (by Kirsty), Mandi will be on hand to make sure your outfits look amazing and we also have a talented hair stylist available to perfect your look.
I then set about creating a beautiful collection of photographs that show off the new you. And yes, it will be a you that you recognise. Our aim is to reveal your inner beauty and let it shine out!
Makeover package experiences start from £295 including the services of my makeup artist, fashion stylist, hair stylist and one framed desk portrait from your photo shoot.
Business Portraiture
Does what it says on the tin - a photo shoot designed to give you a business portrait that sells your company - be that on the web, for press releases or for your brochure. It can be a classical formal shot or a more relaxed one - we'll spend time discussing what you need to ensure you end up with a photo that really conveys what you are all about.
My basic packages start from £125 for your bespoke photo shoot and one image saved to CD as both a print & web ready file. Additional images can be added at a cost of £25 per image. Shoots take place at Parndon Mill, Harlow and will be a mix of studio & location.
